Traditional French Doors
Made with Modern Materials
A door system that complements the look and feel of our traditional uPVC window system flush casement windows, and is available in the same colour palette. These open-out doors are fitted with a discreet hinge and the heritage aesthetic is finished with handles and furniture to mirror those in the standard and premium regency ranges.
Timberlook Flush Sash Doors are made for older and new properties alike. They bring period style and character to contemporary and new build homes – especially useful for developments in conservation areas – and are designed to replace old wooden french doors that cost too much in time and maintenance.
The minimal and understated flush exterior gives way to more curved, sculptured ovolo detail inside. Just like our windows, they are hand-built from modern, thermally-efficient materials, but with details that add authentic charm and style.
Balance and Proportion
Timberlook flush sash doors can help you renovate and restore buildings sympathetically. The mind’s eye instinctively accepts the balance and proportion found in original 19th-century windows and doors – so we retained those details when re-designing a wooden door for the 21st century.
Thermally efficient and secure, they are the ideal solution for renovators, self-builders, and property or housing developers.
As a perfect match for our heritage flush sash windows, and alongside a comprehensive catalogue of uPVC and Aluminium glazing, we can offer a complete package for all sorts of projects.
The New Flush Door System
The manufacture of the Flush Door differs slightly from that of the window, as we have to use a discreet diagonal weld that provides the extra strength required by larger glass unit sizes.
Every effort has been made to ensure that this does not detract from the overall style, making Timberlook the ideal option for your whole project.
All doors must open out, but can be fitted with astragal bars, while taller apertures may have a fanlight.
